The Lighting & Decorating of the Tree

So we tackled the decorating of the Christmas tree tonight. I must say that is was quite festive seeing as how the Canadian Crusher cold front moved through while we were decorating!!! The temperature went from the 70's to the 40's in a snap....and that is not even too big of an exaggeration!! Of course everyone is was to excited with the chance that it may snow or do something that resembles snow. Katie just knows that she will wake up tomorrow and not have to go to school! Anyway the tree decorating was loads of fun this year. Katie did a terrific job of finding places to put decorations and I have started to pass down the Christmas tree decorating Jedi ways to her that were taught to me by my mom that were taught to her by Granny!! Chris even joined in the fun and helped us too! I just love this time of the year. I love turning out all the lights and just have the Christmas tree lit. I love all the decorations and the feeling that I get when I know I have found the perfect present for someone! I have such wonderful memories of Christmas when I was a kid and I can only hope that I am helping Katie make those same kind of memories too!! Here are some pictures of tonight's fun.
